Well worth it! Life saver for plants.
My pothos were on the struggle bus this winter. I had 28 small plants I was trying so hard to maintain. I’d bought a bad bag of soil in the fall and didn’t have a choice but to use it because it was the last bag and the plants had to be repotted. Fast forward a couple of months and it was one problem after the next. Mold, dying leafs, and so many gnats. I finally got these only 2 weeks ago and I’m absolutely appalled at how these gnats are able to hide in the soil. Not only are they on the plant, but they are literally inside the soil. Within 2 weeks my 28 plants (with 72 teaps) caught probably TWO THOUSANDS GNATS. How wild… and gross. Safe to say now the gnat problem is resolved. These are very effective and easy to use.

good product
seems to be doing a good job as i had tiny flies all over in my house. tried using vinegar and dish soap but the smell was too strong. so found these sticky things online. put them in each pot of plants in my house, and wow! Caught almost all within a few days. i still have a straggler here and there, but not long and they are stopped by the adhesive on these fly traps. i can finally take a deep breath and know that they are being dealt with without having to use chemicals or pesticides. a very good purchase

Flimsy but effective
These are very sticky and catch the bugs. They can be hard to peel the paper off, if you’re not careful, it will rip. They are pretty flimsy and if the soil isn’t moist they will not go in the soil. I gave it 5 stars because if they are inserted they will work.

I would definitely recommend these if you get those nasty little flying bugs from bad potting soil. They are easy to use and they certainly catch lots of the bugs. And you get a lot of these in the package. For unknown reasons the little bugs are attracted to the bright yellow color so they walk on the sticky and get stuck. So its very effective and best of all its non toxic! That is a big win for me as I do have chemical sensitivity and lots of food allergies. These sticky items did not bother me at all. Just peel off the paper and stick them in the pots. Each one can catch a ton of the annoying little flies.I did use the little round eggs with these sticky yellow papers. The two together is very effective strategy. And within a few months I had 0 flying insects in my apartment. As I said very effective.

Works exceptionally well!
I don’t know what I was expecting with these things, but what I discovered was NOT what I was expecting. We had sort of a ‘gnat’ problem developing in our house. I especially noticed it in my new potted lilacs (shipped bare root just before Thanksgiving). I had also just received a prayer plant from my Aunt and wondered if the pests came with the soil. So I put out about 6, in about half the plants on this table behind our couch. Four days later I literally had hundreds of gnats caught. I had no idea. We only ever saw a handful flying around us as we sat on the couch, and maybe a dozen crawling in the lilac soil. I’ve now replaced them two weeks later and caught equally as many. How fast do these things breed?! I’m about to drop a dozen of these in the pots and see what it collects over the course of three days. Sure have plenty to spare. Exceptional catch rate!
