Save your money. If you’re looking for a starter drone, consider a cheaper option. Otherwise, spend more on a drone with better quality features and capabilities.The controls on the remote are neither adjustable nor customizable. While the app on your phone allows some control adjustments, it suffers from significant lag and has a very limited range. It’s prone to minor interference and frequent signal loss — I lost connection with the drone in an open field just 60 feet away.The video quality is terrible.

We ordered a PL-516 drone to add to our fleet of drones for our flight school, this is the 5th Plegable drone we have purchased so far and have been happy with the overall quality of the drone itself as well as the customer service. We use these drones for flight practice with younger kids and have so far been very pleased with both the durability and controllability of these drones. Definitely recommend for beginner drone pilots who want something affordable but still capable of taking good quality video and performing some aerial acrobatics. Battery life is as advertised so stock up on extras if you want more than a half hour of total flight time (13-14 minutes flight time per battery has been our average with rotor guards attached).
