6. HDR video is available in two scenarios: A. EIS is turned off, recording at 4K/2.7K/1080p@60/50/30fps with a 16:9 aspect ratio or at 4K/2.7K/1080p@30fps with a 4:3 aspect ratio. B. EIS is set to RockSteady or HorizonSteady, recording at 4K/2.7K/1080p@30fps with either a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio.
7. To use Gyroflow stabilization, turn off electronic stabilization in the goggles menu before flight and set the angle to wide-angle to ensure that the footage is recognized by Gyroflow and stabilized effectively.
8. The maximum flight time of the aircraft is measured at a constant flying speed of 21.6 kph in a windless environment at sea level, with camera parameters set to 1080p/30fps, video mode off, and from 100% battery level until 0%. Data is for reference only. Always pay attention to reminders on the goggles screen during your flight.
9. DO NOT connect the charger, connect external devices, or insert/remove any batteries during power accumulation.
10. The 13km transmission distance can only be achieved under the FCC standard when measured without interference in an open outdoor environment. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one-way, non-return flights under each standard. During your flight, pay attention to RTH reminders on the goggles screen.
11. Measured using 1080p/100fps video transmission, tested outdoors in an open interference-free environment.
12. DJI Avata 2 is factory set to automatically perform Return to Home (RTH) if the drone signal is disconnected, and users can change the setting to hover or land before takeoff according to the actual flight scenario.
13. If the 5.8GHz frequency band is not available (such as in Japan), screen sharing to the smartphone via Wi-Fi is not available. To achieve this function, a wired connection is recommended. Before flying, check and confirm local radio and aviation laws and regulations.
14. Tested in an open outdoor environment free of interference. The video transmission distance varies with the operating environment.
15. The power loop feature has a fixed radius and speed, which cannot be altered. The loop radius is set at 5 meters, and the minimum effective height is 1.5 meters.

Quality Fun Drone With Awesome 4K Video
To start with, I own the original DJI Phantom 4K drone. It is a beast, reliable and still works perfectly. I just hate having to connect to a tablet or phone each and every time. Plus the size, it’s far from portable. I wanted a drone that was portable, quick and easy to setup each time with great video picture and of course, it had to be DJI.I was hesitant on this one as I also want the Air 3S when it comes out, if it comes out to the mass market in the U.S. I went ahead and picked this Avata 2 and got the Fly More Combo Pack with 3 batteries. This is the best way to buy this as you will use the extras it comes with and will save over $150 from buying the extras seperately.Even though I own a DJI drone, there was still a bit of a learning curve. My main appeal for this drone was the FPV Goggles you get with it. I am used to a tablet or phone and never used goggles. Man, it is a whole new world. I have used this drone only a few times due to our great Oregon rainy weather, and flying with goggles is so much different. You are part of the flight and not just on the sidelines. The hardest part is learning the distance of the drone from trees, people and surroundings you can’t see. You basically see what is in front of you, above you or below you, depending on how you point the camera. It’s pretty awesome, but it does take some getting used to. start slow and cautious and be in an open area to start. Have a chair as some people may not be able to stand well as again, you feel you are part of the drone.Joystick is a love/hate relationship. It is new and I am still learning it… a little. I went ahead and bought the RC Controller 3 si i can use manual mode as well as familiar control similar to my Phantom. A beginner that has never used a controller may get used to it faster, but for myself, it is a real challenge. I wish they included the controller and not the joystick. Note: You need to use the joystick for ARCO meneuvers. These are the flips and such. The drone itself is very small compared to my Phantom and is very light. Handles very well and easy to control. The uodating and binding (linking) the drone, controller and/or joystick and goggles was pretty easy. You can use either joystick or controller and if you want to switch, you can do it without programming. The Avata 2 is pretty quiet, quick and very responsive.Battery time states 23 minutes….yeah, in a perfect world. Batteries last me about 17-18 minutes of flight time. That’s really not too bad as I shoot 4K video continually and up/down alot as well fast top speed runs. I have only shot 4K 60fps and it is clear, beautiful videos. All and all, this is an awesome and fun drone. Again, get the extra batteries ‘Fly More Combo’ as you will need them. This combo pack also has a 3 battery charger which makes it easy to charge your batteries. The case it comes with is really good quality and can fit everything inside it, including the extra controller. Overall I rate this drone a 4.5 right now. Had it come with the controller instead of joystick, it would be a solid 5. Highly recommend it.Oh, I am planning on also getting the Air 3S still. I love shooting video and that one has a top of line camera. I am not complaining on this included camera though. It shoots great video. Don’t pay more than the $1199 SRP though for this set. I see some outrageous pricing….

It’s so easy to fly. Best drone for beginners.
I’m not a seasoned drone pilot. I’ve flown (crashed) toy drones. I flew a much cheaper Holy Stone drone in the past with standard controls and video streaming to a phone. I could fly it okay, slowly at high altitude and get cool pictures, but I never felt comfortable flying it fast or close to trees. But this drone with the motion controller is different. I flew it and after spending a few minutes getting a feel for the controls I could fly it better than my old drone. I took it low to the ground, around obstacles and trees. No crashes. You can see everything that’s going on because the camera captures such a wide angle and the controls are simple and intuitive. The radios have impressive range. The footage that comes out of the camera is awesome and it has more settings for photographers than I even know what to do with.If your getting into drones then this is a great option. It’s an expensive drone, but it’s a drone that you won’t crash if you’re careful even if you’re a novice. And if you do crash then there is DJI Care, which doesn’t seem like a bad deal.

Great FPV drone
I am an experienced commercial drone operator. I fly drones from heavy-lift all the way down to small FPV aircraft. I owned the original Avata and it was ok but the Avata 2 is so much better. DJI did a nice job with this one. Fun and easy to fly with the included motion controller. I also purchased the tradition RC remote as I prefer it for precision flying. Don’t sleep on the motion controller though because it can do a few things you cannot do with the remote. See Joshua Bardwell’s video review for info on that. The camera is decent, think GoPro. All in all, its a very good drone.

(best review 😎) i mean its really exactly everything it says it is
not even much to say but im a guy who has never flown a drone in his life before this………. well im partially lying when i was 9 i got a cool little drone, my moms former guy said hey let me try and bro flew it into a tree said we would get it tomorrow and it rained… never got to fly it, after that when i was 16 i got the 20 dollar home depot drone and well that thing sucked it was like grainy 320p with green tint and it lasted only 5 minutes and it was slow and i almost lost it ANYWAYS HERE| with no drone experience at all because those dont count and i used it once for 5 mins| GETTING THIS DJI AVATA 2 3 battery pack was insane, i mean with no drone experience (cause they say you should be experienced somewhat if you wanna try a fpv) i flew it, easy the avata 2 is marketted to be easy for noobs and it is there is a whole tutorial, setting it up is confusing at first a little but just know you have to go through a whole hour process like it has to install an update or something blah blah so by the time i set it up cause i was busy that day it was night time and with NO EXPERIENCE first time touching a fpv or any real drone i flew the thing pretty easy at NIGHT the thing they tell you NOT to do even with EXPERIENCE the thing starts on beginner mode so if you find yourself disappointed like i was at the speed its actually cause it starts in beginner mode you gotta turn that off it goes so slow you can fly it in your house (ive done it) oh and they say not to fly at night and yeah that is true im not gonna lie i almost got cooked i nearly flew into powerlines a couple times LOL yeah if you fly in a neighborhood you gotta go a bit higher i was playing with fire and i was in the road and i was like wait ima get hit by a car and i flew up and saw a car would’ve hit me, but yeah you gotta be an idiot to crash this thing at beginner mode or just get unlucky, and the hate against the motion controller is unwarranted its fire, also dont fly if its cloudy (common sense) and if its windy itll tell you, i was confused why my camera kept leaning to the side i thought i broke it (oh yeah i accidentally flew into my house at full speed and the thing was not even phased in the slightest i still got a warranty though you NEED it) but thats not what did the camera lean, it was apparently because of the wind i figured out and i’d keep going on and on (the cam qual is good but you gotta keep wiping the lenses though there is a defogger i havent used, lets see, ah yes there is a warning zone thing like im 12 minutes from an airport so it always complains there is a map thing to tell you where you wont be allowed and the app that you do NEED to get isnt on the playstore that was confusing its an apk on the dji site you gotta download) but anyways i dont wanna keep wasting your time but i suppose if you care enough you can ask me about my experiences my discord is shankerbankerwanker

I was not sure between camera drones and FPVs. The best candidates were Mini 4 Pro/Air 3 & Avata 2. They all have the same O4 signal system. Mini and Air drones has advantages in their camera, 360 obstacle avoidance feature (useful in manual use and vital when autonomous tracking) . All have same camera features but Mini 4 Pro has 4K vertical shot and Air 3 has a second 3X zoom lens. Air has bigger body close to Mavic series and around 750 grams where Mini is 259 and Avata is 370 grams. Heavy drones are much more stable in windy air. Avata has VR style googles which is excellent part of the fun. You feel you are flying. With this device you can control the camera view with head movements as well.
